As for the “news” I might end up updating the comic soon — if I can get the patience to eliminate the “redraw/fix up digitally” which means sketching the page then transferring it to a new piece of paper to ink it…

Which is how I usually do the one-shot art.

Since I needed to alter some of the lines/redraw portions of the pages after scanning them… I won’t be able to get them posted on the 22nd.

I’ve managed to break most of the way through the massive wall keeping me from fixing the plot-hole up ahead — still having some trouble scripting chapter five but, hey! We’ll get there when we get there, right?

As for Sword of Heaven, I’m not abandoning it, not by any means but for the time being, I’m going to be taking a break from it (I can hear you now “Isn’t that what you’ve been doing lately???” and to that I say “shush!” lol). I simply do not have the drive to draw comic pages, not in the least and it’s better (I think) to go without updating than to force myself to draw and produce substandard (or at least, what I consider substandard) pages since when I don’t feel much like drawing, I tend not to put as much work/detail into the drawings… This isn’t quite the same as my other “breaks” from SOH (which were usually because, admittedly, I was feeling lazy or had hit a page I was having trouble drawing or run out of supplies , like paper or pencil leads) I’m taking this break because I’m not feeling the passion to work that I used to/usually do… Hopefully, even if my general inspiration doesn’t come back, I can get the drive to work on SOH again… Additionally, I have hit a plot snag that I feel the need to work out before continuing (as in: I haven’t scripted chapter five and I’m almost finished with chapter four — as well as some general kinks that need to be worked out.)

In addition to all of this, I have been wanting to move SOH over to blogger. This may or not happen. Just a heads up.

There might not be any updates for the rest of the year — perhaps other than some static art.
